set urself realistic targets…so for the first week run maybe 800m in a set time…for the first week try and improve the time…then slowly increase ur distances and times accordingly.i just quit smoking too..and im tellin you, i feel so alive.i wake up every morning and feel refreshed. my breathing has become? more efficient and it feels great.after a few months you should be able to run 10kms no sweat!good luck!
