How Many Minutes A Day Should I Start Jogging?

Not miles, but minutes. I currently do not jog at all. I know this sounds bad, but the longest i can jog until I am out of breath is 2 minutes. I start getting tired after 7 to 10 minutes. I am not really an athlete, but I am not a couch potato. Somewhere in between. So my question is, how many minutes should I start jogging for the first time? I NEED to get in shape. I eat healthy, but do not exercise at all. How many would be a good starter for jogging?

if you really want to be in good shape you should at least jog for half an hour. this is a minimum requirement. apart from this you should go to gym for at least an hour. it’s really very very important for you

You should use a running plan. I found its a lot harder to run straight for 15 minutes and then gradually work your way up to 45 minutes. its too tiring if your not use to jogging and not very fun. What you should do is have an hour workout. go to a track or a gym on the treadmill.
first few weeks – run for 1 min. then walk for 4 min. repeatably for around 1 hour.
after every few weeks you can pick it up ex.:
    2 min run, 3 min walk x 12 times = 1 hour
3 min run, 2 min walk
4 min run, 1 min walk
after about 2 months of doing this three times a week i can run for an hour straight!

try jogging for 10-15 minutes a day then when you’re used to that and feel alright go up to 20 and work your way up to 30.
