What Are Some Good Ways To Excersize Your Dog Besides Jogging?

The dog I’m getting is said to not be any good for jogging, but I really want a dog that has that muscly look. How can I work the dog out besides jogging. Would walking to be enough?

I dont’ know what breed you are getting that is not good for jogging, but if that is the case you still need to WALK the dog. You could play frisbee if the dog is the kind that like to play. When you take your dog in for his shots and check up ask the vet what would be best for your dog besides walking and swimming if the dog is able to swim that is. Ther will be other things but you don’t give enough info here to answer correctly.

Lots of Sports would help –
    Swimming
    Playing Games
    Sledding
    Skijoring
    Play
    Walking

Why do you want a dog to look “muscley” – hopefully not to have as a ferocious looking accessory! If your motives are right try some agility training, or flyball to develop good muscle tone. Why would anyone want a body-builder dog? Be happy if the dog you have is the correct proportions for his breed, and train him to be calm and obedient before you worry about his body shape.
